Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Readiness Awards
The New Motor Vehicle Board (NMVB) Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Readiness Awards recognize California municipalities and jurisdictions who have demonstrated exceptional progress towards ZEV readiness. By issuing a formal recognition, the NMVB will publicly commend these communities for their achievements and highlight successful strategies for others to emulate.
The ZEV Readiness Recognition will showcase to community members, other municipalities, and the state of California, that you are best-in-class when it comes to meeting the needs of your community in becoming ZEV ready. It is important to showcase such efforts as we continue to fight climate change and reduce harm to California communities. Executive Order N-27-25 (PDF) outlines necessary steps to combat the climate crisis, names additional measures to eliminate harmful emissions from the transportation sector and promotes the current available zero emission technologies that contribute to Californians health and economy. By creating a ZEV ready infrastructure, you are providing community members and travelers peace of mind and assurance in getting from point A to point B.

APPLICATION
Use the form below to nominate a jurisdiction or municipality. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed by the Board. Once you submit your application, please email Loading... with no less than five (5) digital images, which may include pictures depicting your infrastructure, or other visual representations evidencing your success in promoting ZEV-readiness. Subject line should read "[JURISDICTION/MUNICIPALITY NAME] ZEV Readiness Awards." Your application will not be considered without digital images submission.
